Water, mud, or rocks over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 343 PM PST, Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Minor mudslides or debris flow are possible, especially near mountains or canyon roadways as well as recent burn scars. Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain with rainfall rates of 0.25 to 0.5 inches per hour with locally up to 0.75 inch per hour possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... ...THUNDERSTORMS AND WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT... A moist and unstable air mass will bring the potential for thunderstorms to the coastal waters through tonight. Any thunderstorm that forms will be capable of producing local gale force winds and rough seas, dangerous lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced visibility, and waterspouts. Mariners are encouraged to stay in safe harbor until the storm passes.

...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Dangerous rip currents and breaking waves due to elevated surf expected. Minor coastal flooding due to abnormally high tides between 7.0 and 7.5 feet and gusty southerly winds. * WHERE...Catalina and Santa Barbara Islands, Santa Barbara County Southwestern Coast, Santa Barbara County Southeastern Coast, Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Pooling of sea water is possible around high tide at beach and harbor areas that is uncommon with normal tidal ranges. Enhanced beach erosion is also possible. No significant damage is expected. There is an increased risk of ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Waves can wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats nearshore. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Peak high tides are expected between 8am and 11 am. Surf is expected to build and peak during the afternoon hours today. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
